Considering that Tiwa Savage's wedding was today, the turnout for Ice Prince's album launch was nothing short of surprising, many celebs headed there directly from Tiwas wedding, Enjoy photos from the launch below: MERTZON, Texas, Nov 21 (Reuters) - At a dusty Texas oilfield, Apache Corp has eliminated its reliance on what arguably could be the biggest long-term constraint for fracking wells in the arid western United States: scarce freshwater. For only one well, millions of gallons of water are used for hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, the process that has helped reduce U.S. reliance on foreign oil over the past five years by cracking rock deep underground to release oil and gas. In Irion County, where Apache is drilling dozens of Wolfcamp shale wells in the Permian Basin, the company is meeting its water needs for hydraulic fracturing by using brackish water from the Santa Rosa aquifer and recycling water from wells and fracking using chemicals. Why The Igbos Are Not Allowed To Share Lagos State With Yorubas- Femi Fani Kayod

Image
Permit me to make my second and final contribution to the raging debate about Lagos, who owns it and the seemingly endless tensions that exist between the igbo and the yoruba. It is amazing how one or two of the numerous nationalities that make up Nigeria secretly wish that they were yoruba and consistently lay claim to Lagos as being partly theirs. Have they forgotten where they came from? I have never heard of a yoruba wanting to give the impression to the world that he is an igbo, an ijaw, an efik or a hausa-fulani or claiming that he is a co-owner of Port Harcourt, Enugu, Calabar, Kano or Kaduna. Yet more often than not some of those that are not of yoruba extraction but that have lived in Lagos for some part of their lives have tried to claim that they are bona fide Lagosians and honorary members of the yoruba race. Clearly it is time for us to answer the nationality question. These matters have to be settled once and for all. Lagos and the south w...

Thieves are now attacking women with long hair in Venezuela..lol Na Naija weave sellers dey send them? Lol. #kidding o. According to this funny and weird report, having long hair can make you a target for criminals in the Venezuelan coastal city of Maracaibo. These criminals are targeting young women who have long hair with scissors, and before you know what's happening, your hair is gone. A Maracaibo resident Egmari Villarreal (pictured above left) explains:     "You have to see it to believe it. We're not going to be able to have long hair anymore. As a woman, this is something traumatic. It's happening downtown, at the beach or at the mall, where you find a lot of young women. The thieves grab them by the hair, pull out some scissors and cut their hair. Then they sell it at beauty or hair salons." Another resident Mariana Rodriguez told Globovision that she was walking through a popular mall when she saw two women coming toward h...

He said the party’s National Executive Committee unanimously resolved to dissolve the Imo executive committee of the party because it was the only available option at the moment. He said, “Imo has been an APGA state since 2003; we won and it was stolen away from us and we could not retrieve it at the tribunal. “In 2011, we won but it was also a difficult fight because we have to go through supplementary elections.” He, however, reminded the governor that the government he was taking to APC...
